Subscription terms
These terms apply to all subscriptions with Code Creations. They supplement our terms of business and take precedence over them if the two documents disagree.
1. Who these terms apply to
The subscriptions are provided by:
Code Creations, CVR no. 46630335, Rugmarken 30, 4690 Haslev, Denmark. Email: [email protected]. Phone: (+45) 32 33 12 25.
These terms apply to the following subscriptions:
- Website on subscription: the Start, Standard and Plus packages.
- Maintenance plans for WordPress websites: WordPress Hosting, WordPress Maintenance and WordPress Extended Maintenance.
WordPress websites and webshops delivered as projects, as well as hourly work and prepaid hours, are not subscriptions. They are covered only by our terms of business.
Our subscriptions are sold to businesses and associations, not to private consumers.
2. What the subscription includes
The contents of each package are shown on our pricing page and in the order confirmation you receive when the subscription is set up.
A website on subscription includes changes for the number of minutes or hours per month stated for the chosen package. Unused time does not carry over to the next month, and time beyond what is included is billed at our hourly rate or from prepaid hours. The number of pages in a package applies per language, so a website in two languages can have the stated number of pages in each language. "Unlimited pages" is subject to fair use, meaning a scope comparable to a typical business website. If the scope exceeds this, we will talk with you about the right solution.
3. Price and setup fee
The price is the one shown on the pricing page at the time of ordering, and it is stated in your order confirmation. All prices are in Danish kroner (DKK) excluding VAT. 25% VAT is added.
Websites on subscription have a setup fee equal to 3 months of the subscription. The setup fee is paid with the first payment. There is no setup fee on maintenance plans.
4. Payment
The subscription is paid in advance for each period. By default the period is one month, but quarterly, half-yearly or annual payment can be arranged. The first period starts on the date stated in your order confirmation.
Card payment: When you register your payment card, you consent to us automatically charging the price of the next period to your card at the start of each period until the subscription is cancelled. The amount is the same each time unless the price has changed under section 8 or you have changed package under section 7. We do not store your card details ourselves - they are handled by our approved payment provider.
Payment by invoice: By agreement, the subscription can be paid by invoice instead. Payment terms are net 8 days from the invoice date.
You receive an email receipt for every payment. On your bank statement the payment appears as "Code Creations" or "codecreations.dk".
5. Renewal and commitment
Subscriptions have no commitment period. They run until cancelled and renew automatically for a new period of the same length as the agreed payment period.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time with one month's notice to the end of a period.
You cancel yourself in our self-service portal (opens in a new tab), where you log in with the email linked to your subscription. If you need help, you can instead cancel in writing to [email protected]. You receive a confirmation by email once the cancellation has been registered.
The subscription ends at the end of the first period that ends on or after the date the notice expires. If the subscription is cancelled later than one month before the current period ends, it therefore continues until the end of the following period.
Example: A monthly subscription that renews on the 1st of each month and is cancelled on 10 October has its last day on 30 November.
Once the subscription has ended, we make no further charges. Prepaid subscription fees are not refunded for the remaining part of a period that has already begun.
On cancellation we help with the handover of your domain, data and other assets within a reasonable time. For websites on subscription the following also applies: if the subscription is cancelled after at least 12 months, the website is released to you as if it had been bought at a project price, and you may move it to another provider. If cancelled before then, the rights to design and code remain with Code Creations.
7. Changing package
You can always upgrade to a larger package. The upgrade applies from the day it takes effect, and the difference for the remaining part of the period is settled pro rata.
You can downgrade to a smaller package with one month's notice to the end of a period, in the same way as a cancellation.
8. Price changes
We may change the price of a subscription with at least one month's notice. The notice is sent by email and states the new price and when it applies from. If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you can cancel the subscription so that it ends before the new price takes effect, regardless of the normal notice period in section 6.
9. Failed payments and expired cards
If a payment cannot be completed, for example because your card has expired or been blocked, we notify you by email with a link where you can update your card details, and we try the payment again. If the payment has not been completed within 14 days of our notice, we may pause the services under the subscription until payment is in place. In the event of late payment, interest accrues from the due date in accordance with the Danish Interest Act (renteloven).
10. Right of withdrawal and complaints
As our subscriptions are sold exclusively to businesses and associations, the right of withdrawal under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act does not apply.
If you are dissatisfied with any part of your delivery, or believe a payment has been charged incorrectly, write to [email protected]. We reply as soon as possible and correct errors in our delivery free of charge. Liability and disputes are governed by our terms of business.
11. Language
These terms are a translation of the Danish original (abonnementsbetingelser). In case of any discrepancy between the two versions, the Danish version prevails.
