Questions about pricing
A website on subscription is the easy option: a low monthly price, a quick start, and we handle every change. The trade-off is that you can't log in and edit it yourself. A WordPress website costs more up front, but you own it from day one and can edit text, images and products yourself.
Because we chose simple over heavy. Without an editing system there are no plugins to update and fewer things that can break. That makes the site faster and more secure - and keeps the price down.
Extra time is billed at our hourly rate or from prepaid hours. Unused time does not carry over to the next month.
Yes, websites on subscription have a setup fee equal to 3 months of the subscription. It covers part of the work of building your website, so the monthly price can stay low. There is no setup fee on our maintenance plans.
You get a fixed price before we start. We invoice 50% at the start and the remaining 50% when the website goes live.
No, there is no commitment period. Your subscription runs until you cancel it. We invoice monthly by default, but quarterly, half-yearly or annual payment can also be arranged. Whatever the period, the subscription can be cancelled with one month's notice to the end of a period.
Yes, you can always upgrade to a larger package. The difference is billed pro rata.
Yes, you can downgrade with one month's notice to the end of a period.
Yes. If your needs grow, we build a WordPress website for you as a project and reuse your content, so you don't start from scratch.
You can cancel your subscription in writing at any time with one month's notice to the end of a period. If you cancel at least one month before your current period ends, the subscription ends when that period ends - otherwise at the end of the following period. Your domain and your content are always yours and go with you. If you have had your subscription for at least 12 months, we also release the website itself, as if it had been bought at a project price.
